Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data when you browse this site or contact us. Written for visitors and clients dealing with a Brazil-based operation under the LGPD.

Last updated: 12 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Link Building Brazil (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data through https://link-building-brazil.com and related enquiry channels. We respect the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018) and apply its principles to the data we control.

Who is the controller

The controller for personal data collected via this website is Link Building Brazil, reachable at Rua Purpurina, 400, Vila Madalena, São Paulo - SP, 05433-000, Brazil, and by email at fabi@site-media.co.uk. For LGPD purposes you may treat this address and email as the channel for data-subject requests.

What data we collect

We may process:

  • Enquiry data you submit through the contact form or email: name, email address, message content, and any business details you choose to include (niche, metric floors, site URL).
  • Technical data that hosting and security logs may record automatically: IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages requested, and timestamps.
  • Consent records confirming that you accepted this Privacy Policy when submitting the contact form.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data on the public contact form. Please do not send government ID numbers, health data, or financial account credentials through the form.

Why we process data (legal bases)

  • Legitimate interests / pre-contractual steps: responding to enquiries, preparing sample publisher lists, and discussing a potential engagement.
  • Consent: where you tick the Privacy Policy checkbox on the contact form, and for any optional analytics cookies if they are enabled in future.
  • Legal obligation: retaining records required for tax, accounting, or regulatory duties when you become a client.
  • Contract performance: delivering outreach, editorial, reporting, and billing after you engage us.

Formspree as a processor

Contact form submissions are transmitted to Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), which acts as a processor on our behalf. Formspree receives the form fields you submit so we can read and reply to them. Processing is governed by Formspree’s terms and data-processing arrangements. Their endpoint used by this site is configured centrally in our site settings and posts over HTTPS. We do not use Formspree to sell your data.

If you prefer not to use the form, email us directly at fabi@site-media.co.uk.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing site is designed to work without non-essential tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage required for security, load balancing, or remembering a UI preference. If we later enable analytics (for example privacy-aware page analytics), we will update this Policy, identify the provider, and obtain consent where LGPD and applicable ePrivacy rules require it.

Third-party embeds (such as the Google Map on the contact page) may set their own cookies under Google’s policies when you interact with the embed. The map is provided to show our studio location and links out to Google Maps.

Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only with providers needed to run the site and respond to you (hosting, Formspree, email). Some providers may process data outside Brazil. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the LGPD (such as contractual clauses and provider security commitments) and limit the data to what the service requires.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

  • Unsuccessful enquiries: typically up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised unless you ask us to keep a note for a later revisit.
  • Client project records: retained for the life of the engagement and for a further period required for accounting, dispute handling, and legal compliance (often up to five years after the last invoice, or longer if a law requires it).
  • Server logs: retained for shorter operational windows unless needed for security investigations.

Your rights under the LGPD

Subject to legal limits, you may request:

  • Confirmation that we process your data, and access to it
  • Correction of incomplete or outdated data
  • Anonymisation, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data
  • Information about public and private entities with which we shared data
  • Information about the possibility of denying consent and the consequences
  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based
  • Portability, where applicable and technically reasonable
  • Review of automated decisions, if we ever make solely automated decisions that affect you (we do not currently do so on this site)

To exercise these rights, email fabi@site-media.co.uk with the subject line “LGPD request”. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil’s Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).

Security

We use HTTPS on this site, restrict access to enquiry inboxes, and work with processors that publish security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we become aware of an incident that affects your data, we will take steps required by law, including notification where mandated.

Children

Our services are directed at business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this page when our practices or providers change. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes to how we use enquiry data will be highlighted on this page or in our reply to new enquiries.
